Emotional Fitness is a modular, highly experiential course for developing the emotional dimension of Leadership.
The course is aimed at managers and young talents who want to enhance this area of expertise and bring out their potential.

The goal of the course is to enhance one’s emotional intelligence.
In particular, the development of skills concerning:
- awareness of self and others
- organizational awareness
- The ability to manage emotions effectively
- The management of potential stressful or uncertain situations.
Pathway modules:
The four modules that make up the course retrace Daniel Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence model:

SELF-KNOWLEDGE
Development goals:
Emotional self-awareness
Accurate self-evaluation
Self-confidence
Self-reliance
The first module is self-awareness: the set of skills that enables us to understand who we are, react in the face of reality, and identify our strengths and weaknesses.
The purpose is for a “balance” of one’s elements (strengths, weaknesses, values, beliefs, attitudes…) against a role for which if an individual is not clear on these aspects, he or she is unlikely to be able to perform satisfactorily.

SELF-MANAGEMENT.
Development goals:
Emotion management
Adaptability
Results orientation
Tenacity
Self-Management motivates us and helps us adjust our behaviors so that we act appropriately according to different situations.
Fundamental to this module is the concept of locus of control and how it affects a person’s perspective and how they read problems, leveraging (or not) their own resources.

ORGANIZATIONAL AWARENESS
Development goals:
Empathy
Active listening
Organizational Awareness
Customer/service orientation
Social Awareness:enables us to understand what others are saying, feeling and why they feel and act in that particular way.
The purpose of this module is to practice listening and empathy to enhance the ability to understand and “read” others, which is fundamental to developing strong organizational awareness.

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
Development goals:
Influence
Development of others
Conflict management
Teamwork and collaboration
Social relationship management:enables us to achieve desired results by working with others.
The last module builds on and amplifies previous experiences with a focus on interpersonal skills in order to improve one’s influence, communication and work with others.
The methods used during the course are a mix of experiences and Action Learning .
In particular:
- Storytelling: telling yourself and your story
- Cross Feedback
- Autocases
- Role-Play
- Team exercises
Preparatory to the course, a self-assessment questionnaire on one’s level of emotional intelligence will be given to all participants.
