What is

Empower your career is an individually modularized pathway to boost the careers of people who have had, or are having, “hiccups” in their professional lives with repercussions in their personal sphere as well.

To whom is it addressed?

The course is aimed at people aged 30 to 60 who wish to have a career change and revitalization by leveraging themselves and the Stra-Le team composed of senior professionals from different backgrounds and skills.

Goals

The goal of the pathway is to help people who want a change in their career to implement it, to improve their job position and consequently their personal satisfaction .

In particular, the pathway – individual – aims to:

  • Gaining full awareness of oneself, one’s capabilities and desires for change
  • define the desired point of arrival
  • Formulate with the help of a “coach” an improvement and development plan
  • Implement the different pieces of the plan
  • Analyze intermediate successes and failures, reshape the plan
  • Set medium- and long-term goals and future moments of verification in the medium term

Contents

The course varies in length from 6 to 12 months, according to the pattern shown. For skills development, participation in 3 scheduled Stra-Le training modules is included in the course.

SELF-KNOWLEDGE

Leadership development for the purpose of career revitalization

The starting point is self-awareness: measuring the skill set that sets us apart and identifying our strengths and weaknesses.

The purpose is to take “stock” of one’s elements ( strengths, weaknesses, values, beliefs, attitudes…) with respect to what we are doing and especially to what we wish to do in the future.

Important in this regard is to compare one’s own perception of oneself with that of others through self-assessment, evaluation and self-assessment comparison tools.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Within the pathway, the person may decide-with the support of his or her coach-to participate in up to three training modules on a calendar schedule including, for example :

Business simulation

Problem solving

Decision making

Development may be supplemented by self-study and participation in other courses or external events (e.g., language courses)

PERSONAL BRAND DEVELOPMENT

This phase involves defining and implementing a plan for developing one’s personal brand.

One’s positioning in the job market: who I am, what my qualities are, what I desire, what I expect, what results I bring. A personal promotion plan designed to promote oneself:

  • social presence – which ones and how
  • participation in associations or other
  • interventions
  • personal network development

DIRECT PROMOTION

The activities in this area involve direct promotion to companies, organizations, and head hunters, lenders appropriate for changing one’s job position.

You determine the targets you want to reach, identify the people you want to meet, and make a concrete contact plan.

CHECK

Feedback and monitoring of achievements are delegated to the coach and punctuated throughout the course, which can last from a minimum of 6 months to 12 or more months (if renewed).

In any case, feedback moments are also provided after the closing of the course. At 4 to 8 months after closing the course the person with the coach will take stock of successes and failures.

The purpose is to see if there is room for further improvement.

THE COACHING JOURNEY

A coach will be with you from the start, accompanying you all the way through your goals and development plans.

This tool called “Coaching Journey” will be available to each participant as the common thread throughout the journey.

COACHING TRACKING

It uses a digital tool-coaching track-that helps set plans and monitor achievements.
