Editoriale Domus is synonymous with innovation and genius. In 1929 Gianni Mazzocchi, together with Gio Ponti – one of Italy’s innovation geniuses – founds the publishing house Editoriale Domus after taking over the first magazine about architecture in Italy: Domus.
Mazzocchi’s innovative drive doesn’t stop here: in 1939 he sets up Panorama, where prestigious names write about society, politics, and economics.
In 1945 L’Europeo is born: a large-format weekly magazine which will become a milestone of Italian and international journalism.
In 1949 Il Mondo is established: a weekly magazine about politics and culture directed by Mario Pannunzio. It will remain a landmark for the Italian intellectual elite for a long time.

After the recent coming of new digital businesses, the editorial offering grows, and a generational turnover is seen: many young talents with different degrees enter the publishing house.
